Yesteryear Collection

A strop is a leather belt with two working sides—one for honing and the other for polishing the edge of a cut-throat razor. It has a handle at one end and a hinged loop at the other, allowing it to be fastened to a hook on a barber’s chair or similar fixture.

Strop dressing is a specialised conditioner that keeps leather strops soft, supple, and in good condition, preventing them from drying out, cracking, or becoming brittle.

Notes: Tangley Models and Trainline Models bought the designs of the original Creak models after Eric Creak stopped producing the Alternative Collection. These models, although Creaks models, have no numbers underneath on the baseplates but are numbered on the box - These models are just as desirable in their own right.

This model is packaged in either a maroon or a straw-style window box.
